Social media can be such a force for good at times. We have a Penicuik residents' forum, and I occasionally pass the time by reading the frequently successful appeals for lost bank cards, cats etc. without ever expecting to get involved. But tonight, when a friend shared this photo of a "real" photo found in a local supermarket car park by a friend of hers, I shared to the forum. In a few hours the person who had lost this obviously treasured image had been identified, and doubtless will be reunited with it in due course. It quite made my night. The other photo with it [see extra] is clearly much treasured, too!
