Catkins

New appliances arrived mid morning - however upon unpacking the fridge freezer the delivery crew discovered some damage at the bottom of the door. It is purely cosmetic and although they will supply a new one if we want, they have offered a refund of 20% (a not insubstantial amount of money) instead. It is not visible in the position that we have placed it in - so I am of a mind to accept the refund.

Got out for a walk with Finlay late morning - and spotted loads of catkins in the hedgerow alongside the A1. I had to boost the light with my little LED panel. This had the advantage of brightening the subject and darkening the background. I think they are hazel catkins.
