The window of the Apple Pie (cafe and bakery) features gingerbread buildings. Not the traditional house, but a chip shop, inn, sweet shop and more. This is viewed from a side window which was cleaner than the front ones that are close to the road. 

Think I'm losing the fight against the cold which has entered it's next phase. Didn't sleep well and have spent the afternoon on the sofa. 

We saw a woodpecker in the garden for the first time. Just on the fence for a short while before flying into a neighbouring garden. Their bird food was obviously preferable to ours.
