On parade

This morning it was the Christmas Parade in Oswestry. I've never seen as many floats as were in it this year - the local organisations had really gone to town!  The one in the photo is from the Spinal Injuries Unit at the Orthopaedic hospital. A number of them had the themes of saving wildlife,  avoiding plastic etc. as well as the usual Christmas ones.  The message does seem to be getting through.

Afterwards I went for a walk on Old Oswestry Hillfort (extra photo), it was so windy that I got  blown around it!
