A visit to Father Christmas

Today, after ballet, we took Violet to visit Father Christmas at Myddleton House  The visit to his grotto was delightful and Violet was given plenty of time to chat with him.  Sadly her gift was bit of  disappointment, a rather dull book, much too old for her, so I have a plan to rectify the problem and retain the magic...
