Fawley Refinery

No snow down here today :-(
...and made even worse by some people at work staying at home because they had snow and worried that there'd be lots more.

The up side of the cold is that the air can become very clear - which it did this evening. Driving home I noticed lights on the horizon. Shivering in the cold as I set the camera up a few clouds rolled in.

At the time I wasn't sure what the lights were, but looking at a map it turns out it was Southampton (15 miles away). The chimneys on the right (you can see them when larger) are Fawley Refinery - where 20% of our fuel comes from.
