just had to take something that showed how wonderfully sunny it is today. wanted something bright and cheerful, so almost went with these camelias (i love camelias. i love how they can bloom in the winter. the white ones are my favorite, but can't think i've ever seen varigated petals like this) but in the end just loved the sun through the laurel leaves the best.

we wandered previously unexplored streets of our neighborhood (by us, anyway), just enjoying the sun. dreaming of springtime and chambray pants and lightweight military jackets and sandals.
