Lentil Bolognase

There’s one way to keep my mind off the fires and that’s to make another recipe with my Thermomix.  I decided this morning that I would dive head long into making a Lentil Bolognase and I have to say I’m delighted with the finished product.  I invested in the Thermomix just before CCN passed away.  It would have allowed me to cook some delicious meals for Catherine in the Waratah Room.  Sadly that didn’t eventuate and now I’m learning a whole new way of cooking.  So far the results have been wonderful.  I taste tested the Vegetarian Bolognase at lunchtime and enjoyed a small bowl of it with some toasted sour dough.  I have to say (very humbly I might add) that it was really lovely and I indulged again tonight but this time with some spaghetti.

Happily the wind dropped a lot today and I think it has given the troops out there fighting the fires a bit of a reprieve but it’s going to be a scorcher tomorrow so we’re all on high alert.
