Liberation and Memorial

This year marks the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Limburg from the German yoke by the Allies.
My parents and in-laws have been actively involved in this war. Also during the liberation had to evacuate right through the front line from Kerkrade to Simpelveld in the fall of 1944.
This sign of the liberation of Maastricht has been hanging on the wall by my mother-in-law for 35 years (1984) on the occasion of 40 years after the liberation. Quite a nice memory in Delft blue.
