Pretty in pink

I'm grateful to Pookie for being in a co-operative mood today and letting me blip her, as the horrible weather today wasn't suitable for an outdoor shot.

Pookie has been here since I started house-sitting for P more than ten years ago. She had been found impaled on railings, badly injured, and taken to the local vet's, where she underwent lengthy treatment. When her owners couldn't be found, P agreed to rescue her.

Despite her tendency to be temperamental I've loved her from the word go. Three other cats - Molly, Spook and Monty - have come and gone and now there's also the lovable rascal, Leo, but Pookie will always be my favourite.
