When the snow came down

It snowed a little today.

For a couple of hours it looked like it was going to be a substantial amount and I was glad I had no reason to go out in it.

By lunchtime it was all over and after that it has just shrunk away until after dark the temperature has gone below zero freezing what's still left.

So not quite as exciting as hoped and certainly no photos of crisp white snow instead this one snapped when it was at its peak .
