Loneliness of the ... beach installation

It was a day that turned out weather wise worse than the forecast. It was surprisingly chilly too.

A beach walk between the squalls in the early afternoon before pulling up the drawbridge, lighting the log burning stove and writing Christmas cards! The handwriting and then posting of seasonal greetings cards is, I suspect, a gently declining activity as e-comms increase in popularity.
