We were very lucky to get tickets. Half an hour before the performance the concert there were only eight tickets left.
Ever since this orchestra was the runner up in the  BBC national 
Great Orchestra Challenge in 2016  their  concerts have been sell-outs.
 
Tonight they played a very challenging piece by Aaron Copland Symphony No3. And this stretched this amateur orchestra to its limits.
 

Fortunately some more popular pieces followed including a stunning rendition of Rhapsody in Blue.
