Blackheath Village

We had a lovely late afternoon and evening in Blackheath.

My blip is outside the Ivy looking down Montpelier Vale. I love the way they have decorated the exterior of this restaurant.

We had a meal next door at Everest, a Nepalese restaurant. Very tasty dinner with non alcoholic mojito cocktails.

Our evening concluded with a concert at Blackheath Halls with the James Taylor Quartet, an acid jazz funk band led by Hammond organ player Taylor. They performed with a singer, a saxophonist and a horn player. It was a great concert which we really enjoyed.

Back home, we watched the recorded semi final results of Strictly. I wonder why the public doesn't vote for Karim. However he won the dance off and we say goodbye to Chris. Final next Saturday, and after that Saturday evenings won't be the same.
