Lego builder Steve Mayes.

Steve Mayes is based in North Shields in the North East of England. He is a full time Lego artist who has made loads of excellent models. He did a whole exhibition of innovations of the North East in Newcastle in 2018. Steve has a background in architectural photography that really shines through in a lot of his builds, with so many small details captured brilliantly in bricks.
I was privileged to have a workshop tour today. I have joined Brick Alley a Lego group and this was today's activity.
The image shows his first bespoke build that he made in 2012 that features his own house. This started his career as a Lego artist.
A thoroughly enjoyable day. I met some lovely people.
