The Hope Choir

I went to a Town Hall meeting at the local art gallery - it was part of the Four Freedoms/For Freedom exhibit that we went to see here.  Today's town hall discussed Addiction: Can It Be Destigmatized? There were three presenters telling their stories and then a very lively discussion among the 80 or so audience regarding ways in which to remove the stigma of addiction.  If we are to make a difference, I believe we need to recognize that it isn't a moral failing, it's a disease. and treat it as such.  It was an interesting way to spend a couple of hours on a very cold afternoon. Anyway, this group opened the discussion with this song.  It was quite powerful.
