St Anne's Lagoon - Cheviot

Ideal spot for a quick break from drive north.  Lovely to see it full of water again, last time we stopped was a dried up pond.  Not a lot of wildlife about.
Second photo first view of North Island through a very dirty window.  Ferry was fairly full of students returning home from varsity for holidays and didn't want to loose my seat.
Stayed night in Porirua - on west coast north of Wellington
