Candles

Sunday was another wet and windy day.

Church in the morning was followed by ironing (exciting, eh?) while watching the football on TV. As Detective Chief Inspector Taggart might say, "There's been a daylight robbery!"

In the evening I attended the annual Festival of Light service at St Mungo's Parish Church in Cumbernauld. This is an ecumenical carol service with representatives of many of our local churches taking part. Sunday's service included contributions from St Mary's Primary School and the wonderful Croy Silver Band among others. Part of the service is candlelit and it's always one of the highlights of the season. My Blip is of two of the banners in St Mungo's Church.
