Have they forgiven me for going away ?

I’ve scrubbed out all the feeders.
I’ve put out new coconut halves.
I’ve put out new suet balls.
There’s fresh water.

But none of my birds have come anywhere near.

My robin briefly popped in yesterday.
A coal tit checked out the new peanuts shortly after.

But it’s really only been this afternoon that they’ve returned.

My collared dove isn’t really blue; it’s just a trick of this unusual light.
