Nick the Butcher

Always cultivate your local butcher, especially if he's a good one! This is Nick, of Birtwisle's butchers in Northwich. I've been going here for quite a few years now, and the upside of being a regular is that you get the discrete recommendations and tips about what to buy, or you get things prepared for you that might be a bit of trouble but which get done notheless. It's a two-way street as well - another very good local butcher opened closer to home a year or so ago, but I'll always stay loyal to Birtwisle's because that's what a family butcher is all about.
