New gear

The zebra/cat got some new bling--what appears to be an egg holder? Attention to detail remains intact.

We had a nice outing to the BSO holiday concert. What looks like loving kindness, me sitting there holding my mom's hand, is also strategic: trying to keep her from touching strangers. When I fail, it's nice to hear, like I did yesterday, "That's okay; she can touch me." Then, having gotten the woman's attention, I had to translate what I thought my mom wanted to say. "She likes your hair." I am so grateful when people understand, and are patient with, the situation.
