Red Squirrel (Sciurus vulgaris)

Our Red Squirrels are back in the garden!  There has been the evidence of food disappearing but not many sightings.  Suddenly they are showing themselves much more.  This one was content to sit on the feeder and nibble away, many grab food and run.

We try to photograph every one we see as the photograph gives us chance to try to see how healthy they are and sometimes even sex them.  All so far all have been pleasingly bright eyed and very healthy.
