Cygnet Pair

Two cygnets flying over the Rushy Pen at Slimbridge WWT this afternoon as the light dropped. 

Tilly hasn't been quite the ticket for awhile and we took her to the vet first 
thing as she had over the weekend stopped eating, didn't want to go out really and had started to look worryingly thin.

She was diagnosed with Pyometra and after tests today the vet operated later this afternoon. I rang to see if she'd come round from the operation which she had but the vet wanted to speak to me. I thought he was going to ring and have been waiting with misgivings but to no avail. There must have been a breakdown in communication but we now don't know if actually all is well.  I can only hope that if things aren't good that we would have spoken.
