a male house finch - in solitude reflection - after chowing down at the feeders - and being left behind - by his mates for me - to get a very quick - and solitary shot off - which i then proceeded - to fuss with a bit

they are skittish these days - with the boo not being - very stealth in her bird stalking manners - as much as i try to - persuade her to be gentle - she insists on a more - aggressive approach to things - preferring a direct charge - at the windows beyond - where the feeders are - thus startling the birds - so they usually end up flying away

she doesn’t do this all the time - sometimes she’s pleased - to simply lie in wait - hovering by the windows - then quivering with delight - when they make an appearance - she’s a funny one - the boo, and i have as much - fun observing her as i do - the birds so i can honestly - say both make it...
