A bit wet

Heavy wind and rain overnight and a lot of water on the roads and Derwentwater had expanded with waders needed to each the bridge over the river. (Not as bad as one year we were there when this bit was completely underwater).
One brother and his wife had to leave early, my big brother and his wife + Mr Rat and I took Mum to church whilst the sisters and partners exercised the dogs of 1 couple.
After church we all met up at the Borrowdale Hotel where Mum treated us to Sunday lunch and tehn it was time to go our separate ways.
An uneventful, though wet and windy, journey home
