Building, Changsha

Occasionally I go to Changsha for work. Changsha is the capital of Hunan province which is next to Jiangxi province of which Nanchang is the capital.

Hunan is renowned for its spicy food and as the birthplace of Mao Ze Dong. Unfortunately I've not had the chance to travel around the province yet and even visiting Changsha doesn't afford any time to look around as I'm there for work.

Like most major cities in China Changsha is full of modern apartment blocks and shopping malls, all of which are pretty indistinguishable. There are still some older buildings though, of which this is one. I've no idea what it was or what it is today. I shall try to find out.
