Prop'er Job

Red Room now.  Part of the cornice was looking a bit detached so I got up there to investigate.  It appears that little other than friction and Happy Thoughts are keeping it up.

It would also appear that this isn't the first time and the "solution" deployed last time was to try screwing it to the loft air with 4" screws.  

Pro tip #1 - that doesn't work (evidently).

Pro tip #2 - even ineffective bodges look better if you countersink the heads rather than mound polyfilla over them.
