Mycena

A day trying to work hard on a report that needs to be submitted tomorrow  - a bit of a struggle as last week's cold has left my head feeling like a bag of cotton wool. -Some progress was made so after lunch I headed out for a short stroll round Thorpe Wood to get some fresh air. There are virtually no leaves left on the trees, and most of the fungi have gone, but I did find this single Mycena growing among the fallen leaves. I may have played around with the processing a bit -  a distraction from getting on with more work...
