Just an infection?

Or so we thought.

The young lady in the Boots Optical Centre at the Gyle was spot on, “I see an ulcer and other potential problems”, so sent us on a drive through rush hour traffic for an appointment at the Eye Pavilion.

She was right, there is an ulcer and the other problem is a perforation, probably as a result of untreated rheumatoid arthritis.

Long story short, Dad is now resident in the ward at the Pavilion for emergency treatment to hopefully negate any need for surgery.

Can this trip get any better??
