All alight

The first of the school nativity performances this morning and then on to the Senior's Christmas Dinner. Every Tuesday dinner is provided in the village hall for any local seniors who are single. It is an opportunity to meet up and have a meal with other people. 

Today they had a Christmas special for about 60 people and they invited me to join them. There are four teams of local people who take it in turns to cook and serve the meal. Today, two people who were serving were in their nineties! The majority of those who do the cooking and serving are 65+. It was a wonderful meal.
