The dropped stitch

Low tide

My morning shift in the Workshop was fairly busy. There was a steady trickle of customers looking for (and finding) Christmas presents. Lots of positive comments about the current exhibition - artwork by the local primary school pupils.

An afternoon of baking, followed by an excellent Christmas gathering of the Cohousers. Wine, nibbles and lively conversation.

We were joined by a visiting shrew. It was interesting that no one batted an eyelid as the little creature ran from behind one piece of furniture to another around the room. Can't help thinking if it had been a mouse the reaction would have been quite different. There were a few furry creature anecdotes and then the shrew was forgotten.
