This is one of my favourite quotes :-). To be independant is something I think everyone craves in one way or another. To be free to make our own life choices, our own decisions, and have our own opinions, without feeling ashamed or anxious that we may ruffle the feathers of another. And although I do have a slight phobia of birds, I am intrigued by them and also do I dare say a little envious of the freedom they possess.
