At last a morning with a bit of light! Frosty but clearer than any day so far this year, an ideal opportunity to stroll past Southborough Common, where cricket has been played for over 200 years.
Historically, Southborough was known as a centre for cricket ball manufacture, so perhaps they tried them out here. That said, I suspect one would need the likes of Shane Warne to get much response from the pitch today.
