Winter sunrise

Lovely start to the day after horrendous wind and rain yesterday.
As we climbed above the village via Moor Edge we could see a streak of light in the sky. On reaching the moor the sun was appearing above the horizon. Not a spectacular sunrise but very pleasing. I also like my last shot of the sun through the trees.
We’ve had some rain since and Pilates was cancelled so I have started another jigsaw having completed the ‘trimmings’ yesterday. Chris has been making his stuffing balls for tomorrow’s luncheon club Christmas dinner, a most appetising smell.
