Walking the dogs in Hollinhurst Woods

I loved the way the yellow leaves stood out against the dark green brambles and brown leaves. (best viewed large). 
My mum used to live in sheltered housing that backed onto these woods and we sometimes used to go for a little walk through them which she loved to do. Now we walk the dogs here frequently.

A lovely dry day sunny too but very cold again.

Tesco are selling their Lamb and beef at half price £5.50 so got 2 legs of lamb and a joint of beef that will cut in half for 2 meals. working it out I saved just over  £22. they were also selling cranberry juice at half price 75p so I stocked up on that. and Paula saved £7 on her favourite drink Drambuie. 
One of the legs of lamb will be our Christmas dinner like last year (cold with bubble and squeak boxing day and shepherds pie the next the rest is for the dogs) so sorted meat wise. now to find room in the freezer for everything its getting a bit full.
