The last 24 hours we've had extremely bad weather here in Iceland, especially here in the northern region where I live, and people have been advised to stay at home, unless there's an emergency.

We have this saying about really bad weather here in Iceland: 
"Það er ekki hundi út sigandi" / "You can't even shoo the dog to go outside"

...so seeing my neighbour walking her little dog out in the cold and wind early afternoon made me smile :)
