Among the tombstones at dusk
Walking among the tombstones, as the sun went down, an old Epitaph came to mind.
A Want Catcher's Epitaph.
He wanted all his life
and yet by Wanting
His wants were all supplied, and when he Wanted more
He wanted less,
and when he Wanted least he died.
From Swanton, E.W. (1938). Country Notes and Nature Calendar.
Want is an old English name for the mole.
