I paid my friend Andreya a visit this morning and assumed this cat, who welcomed me when she opened the door, was hers. Turns out he’s next door’s but seems to prefer being at Andreya’s. She took this picture of him shortly before I arrived while he (Max) was busily dismantling her Christmas decorations. You don’t get this with Westies but I do remember one of our cats pulling a Christmas tree over once!

In other news, the portaloo finally left us today. Oddly, I assumed it would be hoisted onto the truck but, no, the portaloo guy had to struggle up the drive with it and then lift it up there himself.
