Fish 'n Chips

What a day! Far too much of it spent sitting in a hospital waiting room with Mum for a 1pm appointment...... I nearly had to blip an air vent in the ceiling ..... 

Of course, all the staff were lovely but they are simply over-stretched. We were there for nearly five hours! We eventually got back to the intermediate care unit by private taxi, as the transport that had been booked only covered until 4pm. Mum had missed her chance for a hot evening meal, so I popped off to the fish 'n chippie and shared my meal with her. I think we are both pretty exhausted now.
