The Fairy Sanctuary

It's true, there is a fairy sanctuary in Swellendam. It is full of little angels, fairies and poems that talk about love and peace. It's charming and funny, but one has to pay to visit it and that takes away most of the credibility in my opinion. Here is an additional attraction on the outside:

We had invited friends for a "braai" (grill party), but it started to rain. Fortunately we have a big porch under a roof so we decided to clean it up and have the braai there. It took some work, but it came out really well. It is cozy sitting outside around a fire when it's raining and be totally dry.
The food was a success too.
