Neon Coated
The day began with thick fog, followed by rain, cloud and light drizzle. The great thing about trees in the rain is how it brings out the rich colours and textures. As soon as I saw the moss on this tree, I knew I wanted to capture it.
The shadow side is leaning towards me in the shot, so despite the soft light, it was quite a lot darker than the one facing the sky. This made the moss and little sticky-up bits really stand out. Unfortunately it made all the cracks in the bark very dark and I had some work to do in LR to even that out.
