Bassenthwaite Lake

Back blip
Yesterday we drove through the southern lakes and spent the night in our friends’ cottage in Staveley. Today we drove around the northern lakes and had a lovely lunch at Armathwaite Hall hotel overlooking Bassenthwaite lake. We continued to explore the lakes returning home late!
