Trees

These trees have been installed at the entrance to shopping mall.  At night they are lit up,  but upto now I've not had the opportunity to get a shot.

Chiang Mai is experiencing a cold snap.  The day time temperature is a lovely 29, but the nights have dropped. On Monday night it dropped to 10 degrees,  Tuesday was 11 and Wednesday was a warmer 12.  I know that these temperatures are not cold to many of you,  but in a country where the nights rarely drop below 20 it comes as a shock.  I've had to dig out long pants and long sleeved tops that are normally reserved for wearing in Australia.   The people running the outdoor food stalls are all wearing wooly hats, scarves and coats.  Even the staff in restaurants have extra layers.
