A day of visitors and visiting.
An old friend Julie ( as in I've known her for many years) had seen my post about Cassie on social media and called round to check that I was ok. I did know she was going to call in so I busied myself at home until she arrived for coffee. She also brought Danish pastries and a beautiful flower arrangement.
Two hours later we had exhausted all our latest news and demolished the pastries.
I had arranged to drive to Torquay to see Kipsie while she is on dog sitting duties for our mutual friend Nicky. We've been trying to catch up for quite a while so I was determined to get down there.
I arrived later than planned but was still treated to a delicious homemade veg soup. Kipsie is a VERY GOOD cook.
Another 2 hour natter and then it was time to get back to walk Jorgie before I went to CC.
The weather had been wet and cold for much of the day but again, just as I walked up the lane, the nearly full moon rose above the hill, shining out through a gap in the clouds.
This is the only photo I've taken today...
