Many years ago......

......I worked for a time as a lighthouse keeper. For those of you that have had that experience the refrain “NEVER touch the brass “ will be a familiar lighthousekeepers lament!
For there’s an awful lot of brass to polish ,and finger marks show up like beacons :-O
Here, however, at Pike Place Market in Seattle (a must see destination for all visitors) the opposite is clearly the case : just about everyone has sat upon this long suffering bronze porker that stands patiently at the entrance :-D
The resultant polish would put a lighthouse keepers efforts to shame :-O
