IN THE DISPLAY WINDOW
We took the bus and lightrail to Kassel at 9 am.
The weather was not pleasant, but we had an appointment in the morning in the Finanzambt, and wanted to visit the Christmas market, for the first time.
Happily the appointment went very well, what a nice relief.
At the Königsmarkt and the Friedrichsmarkt there were lots of tiny huts with a different range of object that one could buy, or drink a Glühwein.
We had lunch in the Bio Markt, and later bought some vegan food to bring home.
In the display windows we stayed and looked for a long time at the lovely scenes with all the pet toys of the Galeria Kaufhof. I made lots of photos and had to choose one of them.
Piet Hein and I had memories of windows around Christmas in the Bijenkof in the Hague, where we as childs were fascinated by the marvellous scenes there. Our family came from Leiden and Piet Hein lived with his parents and sister in The Hague.
After 3 pm we took the bus and lightrail back home.
It was a nice day, we were mariied in 1967 on this day.
