.... rainy day shot

We've had another day of non-stop rain so the options have been limited and I've been trawling through anything and everything that I haven't blipped previously.  This is a brooch given to me on my fortieth birthday and although I love it I've never worn it, simply because I don't wear brooches.  Nevertheless it's very precious to me,  as the friends who gave it to me are no longer with us.
