There should be 7 .......

...... but only these three cygnets obliged by swimming gracefully across the wee pond in Queens Park. 

The rather poor extra photo shows the seven swans but they just wouldn't co-operate and get in line. Eventually the dogs and I gave up and walked down to the church for coffee and carrots.
