Molly

A day of two halves.

First half, up smart, ticking of the list doing a wee bit repacking. Panic as I couldn't find the laptop charger - in bag #4 of the repack. Then discovered the preferred bag had no zip as I was ready to leave, then that is left out a couple of things as G came to get me. However, apart from the cover for my rain jacket everything else seemed to get to EDI. Big case 30.4 kg, carryon 6.9 kg + bulging handbag and bum bag. Never one to pack light and of course they rescreened by carryon.

A pleasant couple of hours on the new lounge with pink fizz and a view of the Gogar Burn then on the plane.

Second half. Good but full flight. Lots of kids. Qatar catering food and drink has improved since April. Couple of movies, dinner, sleep.

Now in Doha. Here it's tomorrow. At home it's today. And it's a depressing evening. Even in Doha you can watch the results programme.

Molly is home. She seems to appreciate the fact I moved her second bed under the living room radiator. Wise girl.
