Polling day

This year I secured one of the Poll Clerk positions in Kendal.
This requires a painfully early start to open by seven. Then it was busy all day, we calculated one voter every minute for the whole day!
It was very encouraging to see many young people coming to vote for the first time, and most people were determined to make their vote count in spite of the wintery weather.
Now we have to wait for morning.....
